Soda Canyon Residence

Situated alongside a canyon that branches off Napa Valley, the Soda Canyon Residence blends into its surroundings. The 13,000sf main house has sweeping views of the length of the Napa Valley and the San Francisco Bay. When visitors enter the main house, they are greeted with a rich white Alhambra limestone floor to the living room. Sliding doors lead to a dramatic wrap-around stone-paced terrace, which flows into a game room that links the interior to a second terrace accessing a pool area. The game room has a spiral staircase that leads to a 1,750sf wine cave. The wine cave has a series of rooms leading out to daylight at a portal, landscaped with planting and seating area with views of Mount St. Helena just to the North. Similar to the color palette of the surrounding area, the 995sf guest house brings together wood trellises, stone elements, and colored stucco. The guest house floor plan doubles its’ area with a covered loggia between bedroom suites, decks and courtyard.
