Project Administrator

LocationSt. Helena (Napa Valley)
Streamline projects, coordinate stakeholder meetings, and keep the systems running smoothly as our project administrator. When you’re in the office or on the jobsite, you’ll play an integral role in our back of house operations. From filing crucial paperwork to orchestrating OAC meetings, our project administrators keep our company dialed in.

We value project administrators who are tactful, clear communicators via phone and email. They are impeccably organized and precise in their documentation and maintenance of our internal archives. When we need to find a meeting note, contract, or legacy document, we know we can call on you.

This role is a great fit for a construction pro or anyone with skills gleaned from a fast-paced industry like architecture, film, or event production. If you’re quick on the uptake, willing to learn, and can become familiar with our industry readily, candidates from other fields are welcome to apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Draft and distribute meeting notes
  • Facilitate flow of project information to project team
  • Subcontractor and vendor agreements and supporting documents
  • Draft and distribute subcontracts, purchase orders, and CCOs.
  • Review, code, and forward subcontractor/supplier invoices to accounting
  • Monitor progress and final lien waivers from subcontractors and suppliers
  • Maintain drawings, specification, RFI and other logs as required
  • Collect, assemble, and coordinate project closeout documents for clients
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • A degree in 4 year degree in business management, construction management or equivalent experience and/or certification
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Procore
  • Expertise in Timberline/Sage or similar construction accounting software

Carpenter

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Reports to the Foreman or Project Superintendent
  • Assisting the project foreman and superintendent with planning, layout and installation
  • Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required
  • Excel at both rough carpentry and interior carpentry self perform work
  • Layout, installing, repairing, finishing, and maintaining of various structures, fixtures, and buildings
  • Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials
  • Compliance understanding of local codes, health and safety regulations
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Completed carpentry apprenticeship (or equivalent field experience)
  • Confidence in operating construction tools, machines, and other equipment
  • Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to read and write English (Speaking Spanish a plus)
  • 10 Hour OSHA Certification

Superintendent

LocationSt. Helena (Napa Valley)
LocationSan Francisco
Lead the best tradesmen in the Bay Area as a Centric superintendent. We build custom homes and high profile resorts, and our superintendents are the most important link between the jobsite and the project team. We’re tasked with delivering premium work on ambitious timelines, and your expertise and leadership are what makes it all come together as planned.

We look for superintendents with a deep knowledge base for constructability and a true appreciation of the process. From sequencing and scheduling, to jobsite layout and staging, your role is about maximizing efficiencies for the long haul. It’s your duty to maintain order in daily on-site operations and make sure the right equipment and materials are available at all times. You’ll keep a keen eye on the schedule and quality standards while complying with safety and government regulations.

As an individual, you are a strong and fair leader with a level head and a proactive attitude. You are collaborative with our engineering team and a visible representative of our brand every day on the job.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Communicate efficiently; direct subcontractors and support staff
  • Provide input to the project team regarding subs, vendors, and suppliers for the project; make recommendations
  • Perform takeoffs and layouts as required
  • Create and update the overall project schedule and 3 week look ahead schedule
  • Coordinate and schedule all necessary trades and vendors in accordance with the project schedule
  • Understand, communicate, and implement company policies and procedures; ensure consistency, safety and quality control
  • Manage the inspection service process with local and county municipalities
  • Keep a daily log of all activity on the job site; keep the project manager informed
  • Communicate unforeseen conditions and changes that may affect the schedule, quality, and cost of the project to the project manager
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • +5 years as a construction superintendent
  • General knowledge of building codes and permit regulations
  • Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to read plans and create schedules
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (with emphasis on Microsoft Project)
  • Confident with Procore (or similar construction management program)
  • 30 hour OSHA certification
